The Farm

The farm has been proudly owned and operated by the Taylor Family for over 40 years, standing as a testament to generations of care, dedication, and passion for dairy farming.

Nestled in the heart of the countryside, the farm is home to a thriving herd of more than 80 Brown Swiss cows—renowned for their calm nature and for producing some of the richest, creamiest milk.

What truly sets Chilly Cow Ice Cream apart from most other ice cream companies is its commitment to freshness and locality. Unlike many commercial brands, Chilly Cow Ice Cream is made right here on the farm itself. Each morning, fresh milk is collected straight from the parlour and carefully wheeled just a short distance to the on-site production unit—no long transport times, no processing miles away. It’s about as farm-fresh as ice cream can get.

This unique setup not only ensures incredible quality and flavour in every scoop but also creates a special connection between the land, the animals, and the final product.  The Brown Swiss cows can often be seen grazing contentedly just outside the production room windows, framed by sweeping views of the surrounding hills and open countryside.
