We joined Theatr Clwyd as Silver Corporate Members in 2022! This has been a great opportunity to strengthen our relationship with this extraordinary local company.
Theatr Clwyd is Wales’ leading producing theatre and regional arts centre who reach over 300,000 people a year through a combination of world-class work on stage, such as their Olivier Award-winning musical Home, I’m Darling, and award-winning community engagement projects, such as those supporting people with memory loss, and young people at risk of offending. In recognition of their work during the pandemic, they were named 2020 Regional Theatre of the Year by The Stage. Led by Artistic Director Tamara Harvey and Executive Director Liam Evans-Ford, their mission is to make the world a happier place, one moment at a time.
Working with acclaimed architects Haworth Tompkins, Theatr Clwyd are working on a transformative redevelopment that will deliver a much-improved visitor experience and enhanced income generating facilities within a greener, more efficient, and welcoming building. Key features of their major capital project: Support your local theatre and your local community due to start in 2022 and be complete by 2024.
Our relationship started in 2016 and has grown stronger and stronger over the years. Chilly Cow Ice Cream supported Theatr Clwyd’s panto Jack and the Beanstalk in 2019 and was featured as part of the show. We had our very own Dame costume and our farm being featured in the set.
As corporate members we found a way for us both to support each other for the longer term. Our annual membership has meant we have been able to work together throughout the year to promote each other’s work.
Over the last year we have run competitions for you our customers to be in with a chance of winning VIP tickets to a number of shows at Theatr Clwyd.
