At Chilly Cow Ice Cream, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting responsible practices across all aspects of our business.

From our day-to-day operations to our community engagement, we strive to make a positive difference.

We aim to lead by example by:

Reducing print through digital marketing

We’re embracing digital platforms to limit printed materials and reduce paper waste.

Reusing and recycling office waste

Paper, computer supplies, and redundant equipment are either reused where possible or responsibly recycled.

Minimising office consumables

We actively reduce the use of paper and consumables by printing double-sided, going paperless where we can, and reviewing ways to cut waste.

Using renewable energy

In 2022, we installed solar panels on the roof of our main production facility, helping to power our operations with clean, renewable energy.

Supporting local and Welsh charities

We select a Charity every few years, organising fundraising activities to support their work in the community.

Past and present charity support includes:

  • 2022/23: We raised £1,500 for Tŷ Gobaith through a series of community events.
  • Current Charity: We are proud to support The DPJ Foundation, a Welsh mental health charity focused on supporting those in agriculture.

By integrating these practices into our daily operations, we hope to inspire others—customers, suppliers, and partners alike—to make sustainable choices that benefit both people and the planet.
