Established in 2014, Chilly Cow produces exceptional Artisan Ice Cream using fresh milk from the family farm.
The farm has been in the family for over 40 years and is nestled in the foothills of the Clywdian Range, North Wales. Anna and David farm a herd of Brown Swiss cows which may not be the most common of breeds in Wales but with their brown coats and fluffy ears, produce delicious milk that is higher in Butter fat than most cows; perfect as we found out, for yummy ice cream!
Each Ice Cream is hand made in small batches and each flavour carefully considered, developed and taste tested (we usually have lots of volunteers for that bit!)
Chilly Cow is committed to the community and local trade, supporting local businesses where possible and being an active member of The Clwydian Range Food and Drink Group – which promotes other local producers, businesses and our fantastic landscape and area and all the great things we have to offer.
